Situated near beautiful Chew Valley Lake to the south of Bristol, Stowey Bottom Farm is a therapeutic horticulture project providing activity, structure and support for volunteers with various support needs through skills training, increased self-confidence and workplace routine
If you just feel you’d like some experience of real, structured work in a safe learning environment, or if you’re hoping to eventually find long-term employment, we can offer you outdoor, land-based training and work experience
Stowey Bottom Farm provides additional help for people with support needs, so if you have a genuine interest in land-based work and you’re willing to make a commitment to attend and learn please contact us. Some people are referred to us by professional support workers and we’re used to dealing with the health and social care system.
Our work and training programmes are organised by supportive and experienced trainers who encourage purposeful work with visible results. We can also offer work placements and more commercial activities

How To Find Us:
We’re located in Sutton-Stowey, near Chew Valley Lake (see map link below). Drive along the A368 Bath to Weston-s-Mare road. As you approach the village of Bishop Sutton from Bath, turn right into Bonhill Road (signposted to Chew Valley Lake). Where the road turns sharp right after about 800 metres, you turn sharp left into Bonhill Lane. Our site is 500 metres further, on the left.
